NAJAS INTERNSHIPS

NAJAS offers internships to college students majoring such fields as international relations, East Asian studies, nonprofit management. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in Japan, U.S.-Japan relations, public and nonprofit management.

Currently we are accepting applications for the Summer Internship for June-August, 2023. This is a project-driven internship. The responsibilities are:

    • Conducting the 2023 Membership Survey with 38 member societies 
      1. Designing an effective online survey form by SurveyMonkey
      2. Collecting and analyzing data
      3. Creating charts for reports
    • Some general office clerical tasks (e.g. answering phone calls) 
    • Good communication skills in both speaking and writing are required.

      1. Desired starting date and ending date
      2. Available hours per week
      3. What you are hoping to get from this internship 
      4. Special needs/requirements, if any
          • Resume (1 page)
          • One letter of recommendation 

        Please note that the internship is non-paid, but commuting costs by public transportation will be reimbursed.
